Three Awards, One Team: A Big Few Weeks at Shoptimised

6 min read Oct 14, 2026

Shoptimised has won three awards in the past few weeks, recognising different parts of the business: the results we deliver for merchants, the clarity of our website, and the investment supporting our next stage of growth.

The awards are:

Each award recognises something different, but together they reflect the same direction: helping retailers and agencies get more from Google Shopping, product data and the opportunities already sitting inside their catalogues.

Here’s what each award was for, and what it means for the merchants and partners we work with.

Merchant Success at the Google CSS Spotlight Awards 2026

The CSS Spotlight Awards are Google’s awards for its Comparison Shopping Service partners.

Shoptimised won Merchant Success, the category for driving outstanding merchant results through high-level strategic vision.

Our entry focused on the work we delivered for Marine Super Store, a UK chandlery selling boating equipment, clothing and accessories.

Before working with Shoptimised, Marine Super Store had a familiar Google Shopping challenge. Revenue was coming from a small part of the catalogue, while many products were not getting the chance to contribute.

Just 5% of SKUs were driving all Shopping revenue, 68% of products were receiving no clicks, and 46% of spend was going on products that were not converting.

The answer was not simply to increase budget.

We left the existing campaigns untouched and launched an Incremental Sales strategy for the products that were being missed, supported by Feed Optimisation and our CSS.

The results were clear:

  • Overall revenue increased by 30%
  • Previously non-selling products reached 43x ROAS
  • Shoptimised activity has generated more than £4 million in incremental revenue

Karl, Marketing Director at Marine Super Store, said:

“When we first started with Google Shopping, our core campaigns were seeing around 1,100% ROAS. Shoptimised campaigns are now hitting 7,000 to 9,000%, while generating incremental revenue from products that weren’t previously contributing to our Shopping performance.”

This award is a brilliant recognition of the work behind Incremental Sales, and of the team focused on helping retailers find revenue from products that are already in the catalogue but not yet contributing properly.

Best B2B Website at the IMRG eCommerce Awards

This year, we relaunched shoptimised.com.

Eight years on, the old site no longer reflected the business we had become or the full range of what we now offer across Feed Optimisation, Incremental Sales, Spotlight and CSS.

The new website was built around three principles:

  • Clarity: explain what we do quickly, without unnecessary jargon
  • Usability: make navigation simpler and build the site around the questions retailers, agencies and partners actually ask
  • Credibility: show proof earlier, from the brands using Shoptimised to the results our technology helps generate

Beth, our Graphic Designer, led the project with support from our Marketing, Development and Product teams.

The work started with a refresh of our logo and brand direction, before developing into a full website rebuild. The new site is clearer for visitors, easier for our team to update, and better at capturing useful context from each enquiry.

Early signs are positive, with the new site helping bring in better-qualified demo requests.

Phil, eCommerce Technical Manager at Add People, said:

“As an agency partner, the new website makes it much easier to understand the wider Shoptimised offer. It is clearer what the business does, who it helps, and why it matters.”

Winning Best B2B Website at the IMRG eCommerce Awards is a strong recognition of the work the team put into the project.

It also matters because the website is often the first place retailers and agencies go when they want to understand Shoptimised. Making that experience clearer helps us explain the value of our platform, our services and the work we do every day.

Deal of the Year at the Insider North East Dealmakers Awards 2026

In September, Shoptimised won Deal of the Year (£5m–£20m) at the Insider Media North East Dealmakers Awards.

The award recognised LDC’s investment in Shoptimised, announced in October 2025. LDC is the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

The investment gives us more backing to grow the platform, strengthen the team and keep improving the service retailers and agencies receive.

For clients, that means more investment in the platform, the team and the support behind our products and services.

It also strengthened our leadership.

Steve Nelson joined as Non-Executive Chair, while Aaron Lawson-Clark and Peyman Atapour of LDC joined as Non-Executive Directors. Brian Lavery, former Head of Google Shopping Ads Europe, joined the board as an adviser, and David Zborowski joined Shoptimised as CTO.

A huge thank you to LDC, and to everyone who worked on the deal: RMT, Clive Owen and Sintons for Shoptimised, and Cavu Corporate Finance, Muckle and the wider team for LDC.

What This Means for Our Merchants and Partners

All three awards come back to one idea:

Every product deserves a fair chance to be seen, and every result should be backed by proof.

The Marine Super Store story shows that idea in practice. Our new website makes it easier to understand how we help. LDC’s investment gives us the backing to keep building.

For the retailers and agencies we work with, the way we work stays the same.

You continue to work with a dedicated UK-based team, campaigns that protect what already works, and clear reporting on the value Shoptimised adds.

The awards are a great moment for the business, but the work behind them is what matters most: helping retailers improve product visibility, strengthen feed quality and unlock more value from Google Shopping.

A Final Thank You

Thank you to Marine Super Store and every merchant who trusts us with their Shopping performance.

Thank you to Google, IMRG and Insider Media for the recognition, and to the judges involved in each award.

Thank you to LDC and our advisers.

And thank you to the Shoptimised team. Every one of these awards started with your work.
